Teens for Life falls under the Youth Ministry and is open to ALL TEENS but this particular group has a specific mission:
(1) To be educated further in the Catholic faith especially concerning the "Gospel of Life"
(2) To lead others, especially their peers, in pro-life messages within our families, church and community.
Teens for Life has one meeting per month. Each meeting includes prayer, catechesis, continued education on life issues, conscious implementation of a plan of action and updated legislative happenings.
This group attends diocesan sponsored prayer services and conferences, updates Life Teen and Youth groups within our parish on Pro-Life issues, supports the Washington, D.C. March for Life through attendance, participates in local Parish Life Chains, keeps current on legislative activity making local representatives aware of Pro-Life issues and attends special meetings with guest speakers. Your hands-on legislative awareness hours can count toward your community service hours.
The Coordinator for Teens for Life is Pauline Pavlick, SFO. Monthly meetings take place on the first Thursday of the month in TFL headquarters: Room 205, second floor in the Parish Center from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. For more information please contact the Parish Office at 772-878-1215.
